your answer is below, but first what is youtube overlay?
youTube Overlay Ads In Action
For those of you who haven’t seen youTube’s overlay ads in action you can experience one about twenty seconds into this Dandelion Weird-Out music video.
There was no embed link with this video, so I didn’t get a chance to see if the overlay ads work when the videos are embedded in web pages or blogs. I don’t see any reason why they wouldn’t.
These overlay ads are pretty rare at the moment, and they seem to disappear soon after they appear, so check it out while you have a chance. I posted two images below, one of the overlay ad for the movie Halloween, and one showing the picture in picture movie trailer that plays if you click on the overlay.

I’d have to say youTube and Google may have found a winning formula. The ad appeared, caught my attention, and when I choose to ignore it just disappears after a couple of seconds and I could focus my attention back on the video. If on the other hand I am interested in the movie the overlay ad is trying to sell me, I can click on it to watch the movie trailer and even click on a link to go to the movies web page.
This system seems to work well, and the overlay ads are obtrusive enough to be effective for advertisers, yet easy enough to ignore that they won’t disrupt your video experience. I think Google will be able to implement these ads on a larger scale without fear of loosing its audience. Have a look and let me know what you think.

How do you remove youtube overlay?
Thursday, August 23, 2007Remove YouTube InVideo Overlay Ads with TubeStop
The angry YouTube mob can now do something about the object of their ire.
When I first wrote about TubeStop, it only seemed to be useful for stopping the auto-play of YouTube videos. It turns out that TubeStop also removes those annoying InVideo overlay ads that Google has been experimenting with. This might explain why some readers were having trouble viewing the ad in the sample video I linked to.
How does it work? TubeStop replaces the original video player with the embedded player, which doesn't serve ads.
You'll need to be running Firefox, Flock, or Netscape Navigator to use the TubeStop extension.

let us know your feed back and if this information was helpful in removing the overlay!

You mean the youtube logo?
well you can rip the video and upload it on your site, get a regular flash video embed code.
The youtube logo is embeded in their flash video applet, get your own..
or upload the video on other site besides youtube. youtubes logo will be there if youtube.com its embeded in the flash applet.

Put your own logo, try this: http://www.adbrite.com/mb/about_video.php
