Hello, well I want to use a webcam to record videos however my current one sucks to say the least, I looked at the frames per second on a few DVDs I have ripped and they all ranged from 20fps to 30fps, and I am looking at a webcam at the moment which apperntly has 30fps and was wondering if anyone knows if it is any good for recording video:

if your not looking to send so much money, but the more money your willing to spend the better the cam will be. I recommend not getting the cheapest or most expensive but something in the middle should work!
Anyone else have any suggestions on what cams to get?
I just recorded a short clip and it seemed to work fine, going to test it later with a recording of around 5 minutes and see how it goes on, all seems well though

The only downer is if your not using the built in microphone in the webcam the audio and video go out of sync (soon fixed though if you know your way around the right software) but if you were to make a video were you would just be talking this is perfect, the clarity of the microphone is excellent and the quality is bob on.

Well worth the £30
Quality look decent, looks like a good cam for the price!
Also you could have posted the actual YouTube Video on here? Not sure how?
edit the original youtube url link from this to this:
The edit we did - notice the difference! we erased (watch?) and replaced the (=) sign with a / symbol... thats it now you can cut or copy your edited youtube url link on to your clipboard and click on the flash icon in the post box (this is an option when your replying or posting a new topic) and insert the edited youtube url into there and click ok.. this should create a flash embed code around the link and click preview or post to see the video!
I have took the honor in doing this for you to show you it can be done!
